Assessments - how much are they and when are they due?

In 2007, single family homes had an assessment of $299.  Assessments are due January 31st of each year.  For the other Association residents please contact your corresponding property managers for more information.

How do I file a complaint regarding a resident’s violation of our declarations?

Issues under our governance should be directed to Debbi Fuhs at Foster Premier. All complaints MUST be submitted in writing. (E-mail, fax or postal mail). They must include your name, address and contact info as well as a description and location of the violation being reported. Anonymous letters will not be accepted.

When can we have a garage sale in Timber Trails?

In 2007, Gilberts will be having a Village Wide Garage Sale June 7th through June 10th.  On those days you will not be required to get a permit. Otherwise, the village restricts the number of garage sales you can have and requires residents to purchase.

Is there a Neighborhood Watch?

Yes. For more information please call the Gilberts Crime Prevention Officers, Sgt. Jack Rood or Officer Vincent Ramirez at (847) 428-2954.

What parks are there in the Timber Trails subdivision?

There are six playgrounds (commonly called Tot Lots).  Here are their locations:
Tot Lot 1 - West side of Summit Dr. between Big Timber Rd. and Gregory M. Sears Dr.
Tot Lot 2 - East side of Timber Trails Blvd. between Alpine Dr. and Woodland Park Circle.
Tot Lot 3 - East side of Meadows Dr. between Regent Dr. and Briarwood Dr.
Tot Lot 4 - North side of Gregory M. Sears Dr. between Boulder Ct. and Summit Dr.
Tot Lot 5 - East side of Timber Trails Blvd between Gregory M Sears Dr and Evergreen Circle.
Tot Lot 6 - Northeast corner of Gregory M. Sears Dr. along the bike path between Augusta Dr. and Meadows Dr.
Tot Lot 7 - South side of Timber Trails Ct just West of John M Boor Drive.

What do I need from the Association for closing if I sell my home?

You should contact the Property Manager to get a paid assessment letter. You can contact our Property Manager, Foster Premier, at (847) 459-1222 and ask for Debbi Fuhs at ext. 21.

Is special approval necessary to build a deck, install a fence, etc.?

To make any modification to your property including, but not limited to, a deck or patio, fence, hot tub, play equipment, landscaping, etc., you must comply with any and all ordinances set by the Village of Gilberts which includes obtaining any necessary permits.  In addition, you must submit an Architectural Improvement Application for review and approval by the Home Owners’ Assocation.  Please submit the form to the Property Manager, Foster Premier at (847) 459-1222 and ask for Debbi Fuhs at ext. 21.

Who should I call to report an issue with any street light issues?

Please contact the Village of Gilberts at (847) 428-2861.

Who do I call regarding any issues with the bike path or any of the parks in Timber Trails?

Contact the Property Manager, Foster Premier at (847) 459-1222 and ask for Debbi Fuhs at ext.21.

What if I want to put play equipment in my backyard?

To make any modification to your property including play equipment, you must comply with any and all ordinances set by the Village of Gilberts which includes obtaining any necessary permits. In addition, you must submit an Architectural Improvement Application to the Property Manager for review and approval.  Contact Foster Premier at (847) 459-1222 ask for Debbi Fuhs at ext. 21. All play equipment must be wood, no metal is permitted.

Who do I call if my mailbox is damaged or needs replacing?

Although all mailboxes in Timber Trails must remain an identical style, it is the responsibility of the homeowner to replace and/or maintain their own mailbox.  Although there are likely to be many possible resellers, Foster Premier recommends Mailbox Services, (847) 669-2752.

Can I park an RV, boat, or trailer in my driveway?

No RVs, boats, trailers, or trucks (which have “D” or equivalent plates) are permitted to be stored or parked overnight on any portion of the Premises except inside your garage.

Who handles garbage pick up in Timber Trails and how do I get a recycling bin?

Garbage pick up and recycling is handled by ARC Disposal & Recycling Company, Inc. You can contact them at (847) 230-9422 to request a new recycling bin.

When is garbage/recycling pick up in Timber Trails?

Garbage pick up is on Thursdays except for weeks with holidays when Garbage pick up will be on Fridays.  For a list of holidays observed by Arc Disposal, click here.

When is yard waste pick up in Timber Trails?

Yard Waste pickup is Mondays from April 1st through Nov 30th.
